How do I round to the nearest 10ths place

    If the hundredths and thousandths places of a decimal is forty-nine or less, they are dropped and the tenths place does not change. If the hundredths and thousandths places are fifty or more, the tenths place is increased by one.

    You look at the in the ones place in the number. If it is 4 or below the number in the tens place stays the same but if it if 5 or above, the digit in the tens place is increased by 1.
