There is a 5% per year decline in water in the following reservoir. If the reservoir had 2000 gallons of water in year 2001, how much water will remain in 2017? Set up the exponential decay function and solve showing your work

    F (x) = 2000 (1-.05) ^t

    f (x) = 2000 (.95) ^t

    f (x) = 2000 (.95) ^16 (2017--2001 = 16 years)

    x = 880 gallons
