of wrapping paper to cover the box.

    To find:

    Area of the smallest piece of paper

    Solution:

    Area of the rectangular box = length * width * height

    = 7 * 13 * 4

    Area of the rectangular box = 364 in³

    Area of the rectangular box = Area of the gift paper to wrap the box

    Therefore the area of the smallest piece of paper is 364 in³.
