At the sounvier shop, each stuffed elephant was on sale for $5 off. Matrix bought 3 of them for $45. How much did each stuffed elephant cost? Which equation could be used to represent this situation?

A) 3s-5=45

B) 3 (s+5) = 45

C) 3 (s-5) = 45

D) 3s + 45=10

    The answer should be C. just expand it to see it, so answer C is actually 3s - 3x5 = 45. as each toy has 5 off, he bought 3, so we have to minus 3x5 aka 15 when calculating the total. and of course, the original price S just multiply that by 3.
