A restaurant employs server, hosts, and managers in a ratio 9:2:1. If there are 36 employees, how many hosts work at the restaurant?

    First add the ratio values: 9 + 2 + 1 = 12

    Divide the number of employees by 12: 36/12 = 3

    The ratio of hosts to everything else is 2:10 so 3*2 = 6

    6 hosts work at the restaurant.
