- a total of 840 eat in the cafeteria everyday

    14/40=x/840

    14*840=40x

    11760=40x

    294=x

    x=294

    194 are expected to eat the tomato soup

    Part B:

    find the average of 10,11, and 14

    35/3=11.67

    11.67/40=x/840

    40x=11.67*840

    9802.8=40x

    x=245.07

    245.07/840

    0.29175*100 = 29.175

    29.175%
