The graph of which function has a minimum located at (4, - 3) ? f (x) = - 1/2x2 + 4x - 11 f (x) = - 2x2 + 16x - 35 f (x) = 1/2x2 - 4x + 5 f (x) = 2x2 - 16x + 35

    You can use calculus to do this

    try the first one

    f' (x) = - x + 4 = 0 giving x = 4

    f (4) = - 8 + 16 - 11 = 8 - 11 = - 3 so it could be this one

    - Oh no since the coefficient of x is negative it will have a maximum value

    the correct one will be either C or D
