Swim City, a water slide park, used 168,730 gallons of water yesterday. Today the water park used 25,000 gallons less. How many gallons did Swim City use for the two days combined, rounded to the nearest 100?

    The total would be 312460 but when your rounding to nearest 100 it would be 312500

    168,730 gallons of water used yesterday.

    Today the water park used 25,000 gallons less = 168730 - 25000 = 143730

    Total two day combined = yesterday + today

    = 168730 + 143730

    = 312460

    = 312500 gallons round to nearest 100
