    If you add the numbers in the ratio and then divide that number by what you are finding a ratio of then you will get one part. You then multiply that one part by each part of the ratio. You then simplify the ratio if it can be done.

    3+2=5

    80:5=16

    16*3=48

    16*2=32

    Ratio = 48:32

    Simplified Ratio = 3:2
