There are 5 comedy, 8 action, and 11 children dvds on a rack. susan randomly selects 3 of them. what is the probability that she selects a comedy, followed by an action, then a children's?

    All in all, there are 24 dvds and choosing 3 of them will give us,

    24C3 = 2024 ways

    2024 ways. If we are to select the dvd as given in the order above, we can use the basic principle of counting such that,

    5 x 8 x 11 = 440

    Dividing the second number by the first and multiplying by 100% will give us an answer of 21.739%.
