At 5:00 am a ship leaves the dock and heads out to sea. It travels at a rate of 30 mph. At 7:00

am another ship leaves the same port heading out to see in the same direction. If it travels at a

rate of 50 mph how long will it take for it to catch up to the first ship?

    It will take 3hrs for the second ship to catch up with the first ship.
