A new computer sells for699.00 on eBay. The markup is 30% on cost. What's the total cost of the computer sold on eBay

    Convert the percentage to a decimal

    30% = 0.3

    multiply the original price by that decimal

    699 x 0.3 = 209.7

    add that number to the original price to get the total cost

    699 + 209.70 = 908.70

    the total cost is $908.70
