An advertisement claims a car can go from zero to 60 in 5 seconds. what is the rate of change of the car's speed?

    Rate of change = (changespeed) / (changetime) = (s1-s2) / (t1-t2)

    change is (0-60) / (0-5) = - 60/-6=12

    answer is 12 units per second
