For a history fair, a school is building a circular wooden stage that will stand 2 feet off the ground. Find the area of the stage if the radius of the stage is 19 feet. use 3.14 for pie.

    The formula for finding area of a circle is: π · r²

    r = 19

    19² = 19 * 19 = 361

    π = 3.14

    361 * 3.14 = 1,113.54

    The area is 1,113.54 ft
