If ƒ (x) = 2 x 2 + 3, then ƒ (x - 1) = 2 x 2 + 4 x + 5.

    Since you didn't write the signs, I have to make some suggestions, this is what I assume:

    If ƒ (x) = 2x²+3, then ƒ (x - 1) = 2x²+4x+5.

    So, how much is ƒ (x-1?)

    it would be = 2 (x-1) ²+3=2 (x-1) (x-1) + 3=2 (x²-2x+1) + 3=2x²-4x+2+3=2x²-4x+5

    So, yes, if my assumption is correct, then it's true!
