Factor the polynomial by its greatest common monomial factor 6x^3+8x^2-4x

    Simply looking at each factor the GCF of all of them would be 2x. Therefore, you would separate the 2x from the polynomial.

    2x (3x^2 + 4x - 2)

    because when multiplied again you get the original polynomial.
