Sofia took home 2/5 of the pizza that was left over from a party. The amount she took represents 1/2 of a whole pizza. The equation 2/5p = 1/2 can be used to find the number of pizzas p left over from the party. How many pizzas were left over?

    Is this problem in the English or the maths section?

    The way I understood it was that out of the X number of pizzas bought for a party, by the end of the party only 2 fifths were eatable. If she only took with her half a pizza then the ecuation is right
