The grass in Jamie's yard grew 16 centimeters in 10 days. It was growing at a constant rate. How many days did take the grass to grow 1 centimeter? How many centimeters did the grass grow in 1 day?

    Since the growth was constant, we can find the time it took to grow 1 cm by dividing 10 by 16. 10/16 = 0.625 day to grow 1 cm.

    To find the length in grew in one day - 16/10 = 1.6 cm in 1 day.
