A first-time bungee jumper is about to make his first jump. When the bungee jumper jumps, he will fall 5 feet every 0.5 second.

Part A. Let s be the total number of seconds in a jump and h be the height of the jump. Write an equation that can be used to find s.

Part B. Use your equation to calculate the total seconds for a 150-foot jump.

    S=0.5h/5 (where h = height in feet)

    s = (0.5x150) / 5

    s=75/5

    s=15
