Tim has m dollars. Rebecca has $6 less than 1/10 times the number of dollars that Tim has. Which expression represents the total amount of money that Tim and Rebecca have? If Tim has $70, how much money do Rebecca and Tim have altogether?

    The equation would be m +.1m-6 = total

    We can plug in 70 for Tim to get the total amount of 71.
