Danny poured 78 l of water into containers xy and z. the ratio of the volume of water in container x to the volume of water in container y is 5:2. the ratio of the volume of water in container y to z is 8:11. how much water was poured into container x?

    The ratio of x:y:z = 20:8:11

    Total unit = 20+8+11 = 39

    Value of 1 unit ratio = 78/39 = 2

    So, the water in container X, 20 (2) = 40 liters
