    Lets set up an equation. We know how many packages were bought 5 and each package has the same amount. And the the total left was 27 after giving away 3. That means the overall total is 27+3

    So 5x=27+3

    5x=30

    X=6

    So 6 juice boxes per package

    Well ... if she opened one package and gave 3 juice boxes away ... and now she has 27 juice boxes ... x - 3 = 27 ... where x stands for the total number of juice boxes ... x = 27 + 3 ... x = 30 ... so there are 30 juice boxes in each package
