In a fraternity with 37 members, 18 take mathematics, 5 take both mathematics and chemistrychemistry , and 8 take neither mathematics nor chemistrychemistry. How many take chemistrychemistry but not mathematics?

    37 students in total, there are 8 who do not take math or chemistry then there are 29 taking mathematics, chemistry or both (37-8 = 29). Now subtract this amount those who take math and those who take both, so you have 29-18-5 = 6 only take chemistry (chemistry but not math)
