Tropics: Tropical, warm, very moist atmosphere, lush plant life.

Temperate Zones: Usually the weather is very average, even amounts of sunlight, wind, water, rain, snow, etc. Average amount of wildlife, average amount of plant life.

Polar Zones: Cold, snow, wind, ice, usually polar animals such as penguins, polar bears, arctic hares, arctic foxes, seals, etc. Hardly any plant life, usually just lichen and moss.
