    A) f (x) = 10 + 0.5x

    B) first convert meters to centimeters

    0.185 * 10 = 18.5CM

    plug in 18.5 and then subtract 10 from both sides

    18.5 = 10 + 0.5x

    divide both sides by 0.5

    8.5 = 0.5x

    8.5 divided by 0.5 is 17

    x = 17 days
