The gym has a total of 25 treadmills and stationary bikes. There are 7 more stationary bikes than treadmills.

a. Write a system of linear equations that represents this situation.

b. How many treadmills are in the gym?

c. How many stationary bikes are in the gym?

    T+b=25

    b=t+7

    ⇒ t + (t+7) = 25

    ⇒2t+7=25

    b. 2t+7=25

    2t=25-7

    2t=18

    t=18:2

    t=9

    c. b=t+7=9+7=16
