The width of a rectangle is 5 more than twice the length. If the perimeter of the rectangle is 190 meters, what is the width of the rectangle?

    P=2 (l+w)

    190=2[ (2l+5) + l)

    190=4l+10+2l

    190=6l+10

    180=6l

    l=30

    190=2 (30+w)

    190=60+2w

    130=2w

    w=65

    The width of the rectangle is 65.
