    The area of a circle is:

    a=πr^2 dividing both sides by π

    r^2=a/π taking the square root of both sides

    r=√ (a/π), in this case a=44 m^2 so:

    r=√ (44/π) m^2

    r≈14.01 m^2 (to the nearest hundredth of a square meter)
