5x + 2 = 6x + 11 Subtract 6x frlom both sides
-x + 2 = 11 Subtract 2 from both sides
-x = 9 Divide both sides by - 1

X=-9
subtract 6x from both sides to get x alone as - 1x, subtract 2 from both sides to balance. - 1x=9, or 1x=-9
