the length of a rectangle is 6 cm more than three times the width of the perimeter of the rectangle is 36 cm, what are the dimensions?

    Width = x

    Length = 3x + 6

    Equation:

    2 (x) + 2 (3x + 6) = 36

    x = 3

    Answer:

    Width = 3 cm

    Length = 15 cm
