Step-by-step explanation:
If you take the two numbers and move the decimals out the equation you have to move each of them once. Than you just multiply the numbers. To add the decimal back in you move the decimal the same amount of times you moved them out, one each, or two times. The two negatives cancel each other out, making the number positive.
