For an employee training, the employee to instructor ratio is 18 to 2. If there are 20 instructors for the training, how many employees participated in the training?

    The ratio 18 to 2 can be divided by two to get a 9 to 1 ratio, so every every 1 instructor they can have 9 employees.

    Multiply 9 by the number of instructors to get total:
