    52% is 52/100

    to simplify you have to reduce the numerator and denominator by dividing by the same amount. So for instance, you can start small and divide the top and bottom by 2:

    52/2 = 26

    100/2 = 50

    26/50 can still be simplified more, so again, let's divide by 2 again:

    26/2 = 13

    50/2 = 25

    13/25 we know is in its lowest terms and cannot be simplified any further, as we know 13 is a prime number.

    Therefore your answer is:

    13/25
