Change the following equation of a line into slope-intercept form

-2x+4y=-12

    -2x + 4y = - 12

    Make y to be by itself on the left side of the equation:

    4y = - 12 + 2x

    y = 2x/4 - 12/4

    y = 1/2x - 3
