Jordan said 60% of 150 people is 80 people. His work is shown below. Is his answer correct? Explain why or why not.

60% of 150 = 10% + 50% = 5 + 75 = 80

    No that is correct. it is 90 people. because 60% of 150 people is 90 people not 80
