different rate. Her change in elevation for this part of the hike was - 300 feet. During which portion of the hike did she walk down at a faster rate? Explain your reasoning.

    She walked faster during the first portion. Her rate for the first portion was 20 meters per minute (200/10). Her rate for the second portion was 15 meters per minute (300/20).
