Two squares have perimeters of 20 inches and 48 inches. How much longer is a side of the larger square than a side of the smaller square? A. 6 inches B. 7 inches C. 8 inches D. 12 inches

    Small square

    side = 20 / 4 = 5

    large square

    side = 48/4 = 12

    so 12 - 5 = 7

    answer

    B. 7 inches
