Hello! In order to solve this problem, we can write and solve a proportion. Set it up like this:

    x/50 = 22/100

This is because were are looking for the number of closed exibits on Monday out of 50, and 22% is a part of 100%. Cross multiply the values in roder to get 100x = 1,100. Divide each side by 100 to isolate the "x". 1,100/100 is 11. To check this answer, we can multiply 50 by 22% (0.22). 50 * 0.22 is 11. There. x = 11. 11 exibits were closed on Monday.
