If the area of a right triangle is 9/16 of a square foot and the height is 3/4ft., write an equation that relates the area tovthe base b, and the height. solve rhe equation to determine base.

    Area = (1/2) * base*height

    9/16 = (1/2) * base * (3/4)

    9/16 = (3/8) * base

    (3/8) * base = 9/16

    base = (9/16) * (8/3)

    base = 3/2

    base, b = 3/2 feet.
