Tyron and Penelope both bought 4-wheelers. Tyron paid $199 up front,

and will pay the remainder in 12 payments of $50 each. Penelope paid

nothing up front, and will make 18 payments of $49. Who got the better

buy?

    Tyron got the better deal because 12*50=600+199=799 but Penelope had to pay 822 because 49*18=882

    First we calculate for Tyron:

    199 + (12*50) = 199+600=$799

    And now for Penelope

    0 + (18*49) = 0+882=$882
