    Newton's second law of motion states F=ma >> a = F/m

    F = 20 N

    (a) m = 5 kg

    a = F/m = 20/5 = 4 m/s^2

    (b) m = 40 kg

    a = 20/40 = 0.5 m/s^2

    (c) m = 100 kg

    a = 20/100 = 0.2 m/s^2
