    First we rewrite the function:

    a = (a0) * exp (-0.05 * t)

    We have the following values:

    a0 = 4cm ^ 2

    t = 14 days

    Substituting the values we have:

    a = (4) * exp (-0.05 * 14)

    a = 1.99 cm ^ 2

    answer:

    the wound area after 14 days is

    a = 1.99 cm ^ 2
