    Number of scores n = 7

Mean of the total scores, m = 10

One value is given that is x = 4.

    Calculating the total T = m x n = 10 x 7 = 70

    Total without the given value = 70 - 4 = 66

    Mean of the remaining scores would be 66 / 6 = 11.
