What is the gcf of 36 and 63?

The GCF would be 9.
You would first find the prime 36=2*2*3*3
Then do the same with 63. 63=3*3*7
So to find the GCF you would multiply the prime factors that are the same with 36 and 63. So you would multiply 3*3 which would give you 9.
