    Order of operations

    pemdas

    parenthasees none

exponents, all done, don't know what x^2 is

    multiplication or division

    addition or subtraction

    (x^2) + (7x) + (6/x) + 1

to simplify, make them all fractions with the deonmenator (bottom number) x

    x^2 times x/x = (x^3) / x

    7x times x/x = (7x^2) / x

    6/x=6/x

    1 times x/x=x/x

    so

    ((x^3) / x) + ((7x^2) / x) + (6/x) + (x/x) = (x^3+7x^2+6+x) / x
