    I believe a child ticket costs $12 and adult tickets costs $48.

    First, you have to get those $12 times the 2 children which is $24. If you do $48 times 2 for the two parents, it is $96. Once you add all the tickets together, you get $120.

    c = unknown

    a = 4c

    120 = 2a + 2c

    120 = 2 (4c) + 2c

    120 = 8c + 2c

    120 = 10c

    120/10 = 10c/10

    c = 12
