The capacity is 2 racks, with up to 40 towels per rack, for a maximum of 80 towels o a given day.

    Tuesday: 30 towels

    Wednesday: 50 towels

    Thursday: 25 towels

    Total towel usage for the 3 days is 30 + 50 + 25 = 105

    Average usage per day is

    105/3 = 35 towels per day.

Because the capacity is 80 towels, the fractional usage per day is

    35/80 = 7/16

    Answer: 7/16
