    From above we see that area is the product of two sides. Therefore from the options we have been given, the expressions that shows the area is 30000 yd² is B. x (3x+100) = 30000.

    This is because our area has been expressed as the product of x and (3x+100), in other words we can assume that the dimension of our rectangle is x yds by (3x+100) yds.
