How do u round to the nearest tenth

When you're rounding to the nearest tenth you have to look at the hundredths column if the number in the hundredths column is greater than 5 then you round up if it's less than 5 then you round down. For example

3.46 look at the 6 it's greater than five so the rounded answer would be 3.5

If the second number after the decimal (the number in the hundredths place) is less than 5 (0,1,2,3 or 4) then you will round down. If it is 5 or higher, you round up to one of the closest tenths.
