Explain why all squares must be rectangles but not all rectangles must be squares.

    The definition of squares is a shape that has 2 sets of parallel sides all equaling the same value with all angles 90degrees

    the definition of rectangle is a shape that has 2 sets of parallel sides with all angles 90degrees

    so a square fits the description of a rectangle but a rectangle doesn't fit the full description of a square
